Amaro // Digestive Bitters

A digestive ally inspired by a traditional Italian remedy. "Amaro" means bitter in Italian. Bitters gently stimulate the digestive system by the sensation of its taste signaling the body to get the gastric juices flowing. Taking one dose before a meal stimulates the appetite and cuts down on indigestion, gas, and bloating. You may choose to take it after a meal instead to help digest a particularly rich meal.*

This blend is an alcohol extraction of 15 herbs and spices, including bitter and digestive powerhouses like Gentian, Angelica, and Dandelion. *

Tinctures have a strong taste to them. Because of this, it is normally recommended to take the dose within 2 ounces of water and knocked back like a shot. Be sure that you can actually taste the blend, as that bitterness is what makes this remedy work! *

 To use: Take 5-10 drops 15 minutes before a meal.

Comes in a two ounce blue glass dropper bottle.

Proprietary Herbal Blend: Angelica (A. archangelica), Anise (Illicium verum), Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum), Citrus Peel, Clove (Syzygium aromaticum), Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), Gentian (Gentiana lutea), Hops (Humulus lupulus), Hyssop (Hyssop officinalis), Juniper Berry (Juniperus communis), Lemongrass (cymbopogon citratus), Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Rosemary (Romarinus officinalis), Spearmint (Mentha x spicata), Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium).

Other Ingredients: Water, Vodka, Honey.
